Motion/ Paris

This course is thematically focused on circumstances and conditions beyond the local. It moves away from preconceived local knowledge to consider issues of unfamiliarity within a foreign context. This thematic focus is supplemented by a broader interest in the city as a condition for architecture. Students investigate a range of everyday practices that constitute the experience of the contemporary city.
